Perpetually Five outtakes

(Perpetually Five koala jumper, Factorie shorts, thrifted flatforms)

A couple of outtakes from my shoot with Perpetually Five, can't wait to see his new stuff this week at FASHFEST. I think there are a few tickets left if you haven't got yours yet!

I hang out with trees sometimes

(Dotti jacket, thrifted tee and backpack, Bettina Liano leather skirt)

I've been wanting to get a jacket like this for ages and for some reason only just got around to it. They were on sale at Dotti so I picked up one in Khaki and another in light blue. Amazing what you can get done when you are supposed to be shopping for proper things like couches! But don't worry - I finally did order a couch today but still have to wait a few weeks for it to be delivered. Until then I only have my bed and my floor couch (that's what I call the pile of cushions on the floor) to sit on. Can't wait for this couch so I can invite people over for board game and pizza fun times.

Anywho we took these photos after the Spirit of Fashion event at Knightsbridge tonight, thanks to Fashion Vodka (a new product from Fashion TV) for having us along and for the pretty drinks. Even though I don't usually drink I couldn't resist trying the pastel pink cosmopolitan :)

Tomorrow I'm helping out at work with Groovin the Moo, come say hi to me at the photo booth if you're there!

Hope you all had an awesome Easter - I ate some chocolate, moved house, went shopping and hung out with my bunny pal in my new appartment!

long weekend

(thrifted jumper and backpack, Factorie shorts, flatforms from a garage sale)

Can you believe I got these flatform sandals at a garage sale for $2?! So happy with them even though they are a teensy bit big which makes them slightly harder to walk in.

Also glad the current weather is allowing for jumpers and shorts. This is my favourite kind of dressing, and I will be revelling in it as much as possible until we get into awful, frumpy, cover-your-whole-body up-to-avoid-frostbite type of weather. At least all the recent rain has turned this pathway's surroundings all green and cute like the English countryside.

This weekend I'm moving out of my share house into my own apartment really close to work which is exciting. I have to organise a bunch of boring stuff like washing machines and internet connections, but I also get to colour code all my clothes in my huge new wardrobe which is super fun. What are you getting up to this Easter?

fur coat/bare legs

(thrifted faux fur coat, clutch and skirt, Trenery silk top, Kenji boots, Michael Kors watch)

It doesn't matter what you you wear on your legs, if you wear a (faux) fur coat you're gonna be warm! I wore this one to the FASHFEST rehearsal and the new speakeasy bar, Molly, over the weekend. It has the cutest blue and green tartan lining and makes you look like a teddy bear too, so you really can't go wrong :)

I included some smiley pics for my housemate cause she is over poutiness, these are for you Soph!

FASHFEST rehearsals

Some snapshots of the rehearsals for FASHFEST yesterday. Plenty of guys and girls in standard model casting attire but also a few showing off their personal style, which I personally love to see.

We're less than a month away now so if you're in Canberra and don't have tickets yet head over to fashfest.com.au. There's a slew of new designers this year as well as showcases from the graduating fashion class from CIT. And I can't guarantee anything but last year there was a lolly bar. I'm just sayin'.

WND.LND Part Two

For part two of my shoot with WND.LND I decided to team the "rocking roses" cropped sweater with the "feeling frilly" shorts. I can tell you that this is a winning combo if you feel you need to attract more attention at the supermarket, and it's really a marked improvement from my usual grey trackies and hoodie combo.

Make sure you get your tickets for FASHFEST on Wednesday 30 April if you want to see what's next for WND.LND! Tickets are on sale now at fashfest.com.au, and like last year, the shows will be held at Canberra Airport

WND.LND Part One

Even though it's a pretty different look for me I loved styling this "love me" skirt from WND.LND. I especially love the smily patches hidden throughout the roses, they're just like the ones on Ted Theodore Logan's shorts.

The label's designer is local cool girl Zoe Brown, who loves pulling trends from different regions and takes inspiration from street style and youth culture. WND.LND is short for Wonderland, which makes sense given the whimsical, romantic and adventurous feel of Zoe's pieces. To be honest I love the styling of her lookbook so much that I basically just replicated the whole flower crown and socks with platforms idea. Why mess with perfection, amirite?

WND.LND will be showing their new collection at FASHFEST on Wednesday 30 April, you can get your tickets at fashfest.com.au now! Like last year, the event will be held at Canberra Airport
