When I went to use my camera the other night I realised I'd left the battery in the charger at home *facepalm*. So phone photos! I'm really enjoying these flatforms I thrifted even though they rub like a bitch at the back. Need to remember band-aids next time.
Oh and BTW happy Halloween! I don't have a costume for today but I have a party on Saturday so I'm super pumped!

Been thrifting up a storm this week, I went three times! Plus this morning I went to a school fete and picked up some bargains and a sausage sandwich too, God I love sausage sandwiches soooo much!
This is an awesome tie dye t-shirt I found at the Jamison Salvo's along with my equine friend I adopted last week at Belconnen Vinnies. I tried to dye her hair pink with my Manic Panic, but it didn't work. I guess it's not meant for synthetic hair haha! Lesson learned. Hope your weekend has been as thrift-tastic and relaxing as mine!

When you're wearing a tongue-in-cheek athletic tee, you may as well go full cheerleader right? I got the shirt in Brighton and decided to pair it with a $6 sailor skirt I bought at Savers in Melbourne like 5 years ago (I made the right choice with that one!).

Just some of the amazing things I've picked up at the op shop this week. Luckily the sneakers are a good fit and possibly just little bit cooler than this other pair of flatforms I thrifted a while ago. The gold shirt is fuzzy like a cat, and I feel like the colour is kind of good for my skin tone? I guess I've never really worn gold before so I never knew! To top it all off, the Salvo's at Jamison was having a glorious sale on green ticket items, so these Wrangler shorts were only $1!! Too bad they are a little small for me, I'm gonna sell them at my stall at the markets next month though. I so so badly want to have a full time job selling second-hand clothes, then I could spend all day trawling through op shops. I would have the coolest little vintage shop filled with heaps of plants so it felt like a rainforest, and of course I would play the best music - everything from The Shangri-Las to Miley!

Tomboy/school day dressing is my favourite, and to me that means plaid, shorts and backpacks!
Wore this on a very hot day yesterday to road trip out to Mogo Zoo, eat dirty hamburgers and walk along the beach. I got mesmerised watching the otters playing in the water at the zoo, it made me want to jump into a big blue pool of water and cool down too! What's your favourite zoo animal?

Did you know that Top Gun is my favourite movie? In the immortal words of Seth Cohen, it's the perfect love story! So I love to wear my old Top Gun tee which I got a million years ago (ok like 5 years). It even says 'Maverick' on the back! But since I was wearing a mens tee I thought I would balance it out with my girly heart sunnies and cutesy panda backpack. Arrrgh so fun. Need to commit to wearing fun accessories all summer I think!
How do you like to balance the masculine and feminine aspects of your outfits?

I don't drink but if I did, I would do it while wearing this dress. In fact, I'm thinking of going on another cruise just because I feel like it would be such appropriate attire. Plus I got it in Paris so, you know, fashion bragging rights.

Been in Amsterdam for a few days now but today I took the train out to Utrecht which is so pretty I loved it so much! As soon as I got there I found an op-shop so I knew it was going to be good. Here is some of the crap that I wanted (but don't have room for). I did manage to bring home a checked shirt, daisy-print shorts and an effing incredible holographic lamp though. I'll post the lamp later seriously it's amazing.
But anyway you really should visit Utrecht if you're in the area - it's like a mini Amsterdam with little canals and cobbled streets with lots of cool shops.
And that was my last day overseas! I am heading home tomorrow, have to get up in the morning and try to shove everything I've accumulated into my suitcase :(
