Giverny

I know, perfect tree star right?

I went to Giverny today and I can already tell it's going to be one of the highlights of my trip. It's about an hour by train and bus from Paris, and it's home to Monet's house, garden and waterlilly ponds.

It was so incredible to stand on Monet's Japanese bridge and explore the beautiful gardens, but I also wandered around the town itself which is so gorgeous and charming. I absolutely need to start travelling to the country more often.

As a bonus I got to have two of my favourites: Crepes (with butterscotch sauce and ice cream! Normally I get lemon and sugar) and lemon meringue pie.
