It was the first night of FASHFEST Canberra last night so my Mum and I went to check it. FASHFEST is Canberra's first fashion festival, helping to celebrate our centenary by showcasing local designers, models and entertainers.
I wore a thrifted basketball jersey, Zara jeans, ASOS wedges and Target jumper.
Fellow Canberra blogger Jiawa from Closet Voyage.
This girl was so cool. I mean look at her bindi and cute ears! And her Doc Martens!
Westfield had set up a candy bar for everyone before the show. I got a bunch of coke bottles, Maltesers and chocolate-coated honeycomb!
Baku showed heaps of cute flirty bikinis, and I loved the way the models had big curly hair with retro sunglasses perched on top.
Hunter was one of my favourites because of the sixties sleepover vibe. I loved the plaid, pastel colours, cotton and braided hairstyles.
Perpetually Five was definitely the funnest show, with tons of bright colours and prints. I think everyone's favourite was the aqua and yellow suit above!
Lisa T paired huge fur hoods with sparkly wedges. Very Almost Famous/Atilla the Hun/Babushka doll.
WND LND was romantic and quirky, and the plaited Chun Li buns complemented that very well.
Anneliese Seubert walked for Rockstars and Royalty, reminding me of Degas' ballerinas and Marie Antoinette.
Thanks to FASHFEST and all the sponsors and partners for putting on such an awesome show! You can still get standing room tickets for Thursday, Friday and Saturday if you want to check it out :)
